I am Pennie Lamanac, a dedicated individual born in North Georgia with a deep passion for serving others. My journey in the field of emergency services began in 1983 when I started working for Metro Ambulance as an EMT. Over the years, I honed my skills and expertise, eventually becoming a paramedic in 1991.
In 2000, a significant moment occurred when I met Jason Lamanac on a fireground, where he was injured and required transportation to the hospital. Our paths intertwined, leading to a beautiful relationship that culminated in marriage in 2002.
In 2003, I transitioned to a new chapter in my career by joining the Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services as a firefighter. Throughout my tenure, I pursued various certifications, including Fire Instructor, Fire Inspector, Fire Safety Officer, and Public Safety Educator. These qualifications not only enhanced my professional skills but also showcased my dedication to continuous learning and development.
In 2019, I made the decision to retire, reflecting on a fulfilling career marked by service, dedication, and a profound impact on the safety and well-being of my community.

Together, Jason and I have three children and are blessed with a precious granddaughter.

Today, as I embrace the next chapter in my life, I am grateful for the experiences, relationships, and lessons learned throughout my journey. My legacy as a firefighter, paramedic, and public safety advocate stands as a testament to my unwavering dedication to serving others and making a difference in the world.
